Minimum clearance height shall be 15’. The
columns shall be steel which shall be primed and
painted with an epoxy system. Down spouts shall
have external mounting. Rain leaders shall be
buried and core drilled through the curb so that
the water will flow direct to the gutters.
Lights shall be recessed. Contractor shall
recommend minimum number of lights to ensure
adequate lighting. Power for lighting to be fed
from existing shed and shall be activated by
motion sensors with a ten minute time delay.
Contractor shall provide factory pre-finished
metal facia system. Trim and fascia
may be of aluminum or steel. Support structures
must be of steel. Decking material to be roll
forged from minimum 24 gauge sheet steel.
All finishes to be determined by Owner prior to
installation. All exposed surfaces must be
covered with enamel or other low maintenance,
highly durable finish. Canopy to be drained to
minimize impact of drainage to service area,
equipment and surrounding facilities. All
finishes shall have a 20 year warranty. Any
guttering used must blend with the appearance of
the canopy. Contractor shall be responsible for
blocking the fuel lanes during construction. No
