Site Work is the preparation of a location for the construction of a new building or other structure. Building projects require that the ground be leveled and sometimes filled. Trees and shrubs may need to be removed. Site work can include clearing & grubbing, grading, leveling and filling when required for the preparation of a location for further construction. Site work can include the installation of utilities such as water, sewer, gas, electrical, telecom, and storm sewer before the buildings are constructed. 'Site work' does not generally apply for the renovation or demolition of existing structures.
